Gili Trawangan Named Host for Indonesia’s 2026 PADI IDC Training Schedule

The 2026 training schedule for Indonesia’s PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) has been formally released, confirming Gili Trawangan as the designated location for all instructor-level programs throughout the year. The announcement outlines a structured series of ten Instructor Development Courses and associated Instructor Examinations to be delivered under current international training standards.

All scheduled IDC programs will be conducted at Blue Marlin Dive Gili Trawangan, a long-established professional dive center recognized as the first PADI IDC Centre on the island. The facility has supported professional diver training for more than three decades and continues to play a central role in Indonesia’s instructor development landscape.

Instructional oversight and candidate evaluation are led by Platinum PADI Course Director Holly Macleod, whose career includes more than 23 years of professional diving experience across multiple international regions. Training delivery emphasizes instructional consistency, structured teaching performance, and practical knowledge application aligned with PADI certification requirements.
