Success in wrestling does not happen overnight, but the rapid rise of young athlete Lyla Kasztner is proving what can happen when talent, hard work, and the right coaching environment come together.
Just a few months ago, Lyla began her training under Sean Kirtz’s homeschool program. At the time, she was still developing as a wrestler and learning the details that separate good athletes from elite competitors. In only three months of focused training and competition preparation, Lyla climbed all the way to becoming the #1 ranked wrestler in the state in her division.
Her rise has been highlighted by an impressive performance at NHSCA Nationals, where she earned All-American honors against some of the toughest competition in the country. During her run, Lyla defeated multiple state champions, including the Arkansas state champion in the quarterfinals to secure her placement on the podium.
While Lyla deserves tremendous credit for her dedication, discipline, and toughness, her success also reflects the effectiveness of Sean Kirtz’s homeschool wrestling program.
