PADI IDC Indonesia Schedule Released for 2026 in the Gili Islands

The official 2026 schedule for the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) has been announced for Indonesia, with all sessions scheduled to take place in the Gili Islands. The program continues to uphold its reputation as one of the most established and comprehensive professional scuba instructor training options in the Asia-Pacific region.

Directed by Platinum PADI Course Director Holly Macleod, the program is hosted by Blue Marlin Dive Gili Trawangan — the first-ever established PADI IDC Centre in the Gili Islands. With over three decades of operational experience, the center remains a leading provider of professional scuba education and instructor-level development in Indonesia.

2026 PADI IDC Indonesia Schedule (Gili Islands):

  • January 7–26 (Instructor Exam: Jan 27–28)
  • February 11–March 2 (Instructor Exam: Mar 3–4)
  • March 18–April 6 (Instructor Exam: Apr 7–8)
  • April 22–May 11 (Instructor Exam: May 12–13)
  • May 27–June 15 (Instructor Exam: Jun 16–17)
  • July 1–20 (Instructor Exam: Jul 21–22)
  • August 5–24 (Instructor Exam: Aug 25–26)
  • September 9–28 (Instructor Exam: Sept 29–30)
  • October 14–November 2 (Instructor Exam: Nov 3–4)
  • November 18–December 7 (Instructor Exam: Dec 8–9)

Each program follows the official PADI Instructor Development framework, supported by additional real-world training techniques developed through over two decades of professional diving experience. The curriculum is designed to prepare future instructors for international-level teaching standards, emphasizing safety, knowledge, and effective communication in both confined and open-water environments.

Course Director Holly Macleod has worked in numerous global diving destinations and has issued more than 3,500 PADI Instructor certifications throughout her career. Having achieved the Platinum PADI Course Director rating for 13 consecutive years, she continues to contribute to the professional growth of instructors across the region.
