Indonesia has confirmed the official 2026 schedule for the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), outlining a year-long program of instructor-level scuba training to be conducted in the Gili Islands. The announcement establishes Indonesia’s continued role as a major regional center for professional diver education operating under internationally recognized PADI standards.

All 2026 PADI IDC programs in Indonesia will be delivered in Gili Trawangan at Blue Marlin Dive Gili Trawangan, the first PADI IDC Centre established in the region. With more than 30 years of operational history, the facility remains a key contributor to professional scuba training and instructor development within Indonesia.

Program oversight and instructional evaluation are conducted by Platinum PADI Course Director Holly Macleod, whose professional experience spans over 23 years across multiple international diving destinations. The Indonesian IDC framework emphasizes instructor competency, standardized teaching assessment, and applied instructional methodology aligned with global certification requirements.
