A prominent rights organization has called on former U.S. President Donald Trump to face criminal prosecution, alleging his administration’s support for an unorthodox humanitarian operation led to Palestinian aid seekers’ deaths in Gaza.
On July 12th, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor issued a statement calling upon international courts to hold President Donald Trump accountable for alleged genocide based on his endorsement of Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), as linked by evidence provided by The Guardian and Al Jazeera, with funding and political support from America leading to militarized aid distribution systems that led to fatal shootings of Palestinians in Gaza. They pointed out how U.S. funding enabled an unsafe distribution system resulting in fatal outcomes which led to fatal outcomes which was enabled through U.S funding as political support provided to GHF by U.S. funding as well as political support that enabled “militarized” aid distribution system which caused shooting deaths as a direct result of U.S. funding which supported militaryized aid distribution system with fatal outcomes being experienced by both parties involved resulting in both countries as a direct consequence; They concluded with both organizations making statements concerning President Trump and Al Jazeera plus 4 concerning their respective statements making statements related to Donald Trump regarding his alleged genocide claims regarding genocide charges being laid out against Donald Trump for his endorsement of GHF aid distribution system being enabled militarized which lead directly resulting in fatal shooting incidents within Gaza where U.S. funding enabled militarized aid distribution system leading directly lead directly leading directly leading directly resulted fatal outcomes with regards to US funding which enabled militarized aid distribution system leading deadly results within. Since late May, Palestinian health authorities and United Nations observers estimate that hundreds of Palestinians have been killed while waiting at GHF-operated sites to receive food aid, according to estimates provided by Palestinian health authorities and observers from both bodies. At least 798 were confirmed deaths by UN observers over six weeks; most casualties clustered near GHF hubs – whilst 4,900 more people had injuries reported as having received help. The Office for the High Commissioner for Human Rights recently noted an alarming trend where civilians are being shot near aid stations controlled by American private security contractors and Israeli forces; according to Amnesty International and Wikipedia. These shootings took place near aid stations controlled by American private security contractors or Israeli forces and occurred near aid stations controlled by these same parties (Amnesty International; Wikipedia +9; Dawn +9)
The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor highlighted testimony indicating that U.S.-hired private security personnel participated actively in attacks on unarmed aid seekers who sought aid.
GHF claims Trump’s administration provided them with comprehensive military, financial, political, and diplomatic support that made their operations safer, which had often been targeted by gunfire. To hear more, go to CBS News @ Dawn or the Center for Constitutional Rights @ Dawn
Center for Constitutional Rights has submitted a Freedom of Information Act request seeking documents which might reveal whether Trump’s team viewed GHF as part of an expansive “Gaza Riviera” redevelopment scheme, which some critics describe as ethnic cleansing of Palestinian land.. In parallel, U.S.-based Center for Constitutional Rights filed its Freedom of Information Act request seeking records under FOIA regarding Gaza Harbor Factory (GHF). These records could show whether some part of Trump’s team considered GHF an integral component in an overall “Gaza Riviera” plan which may also constitute ethnic cleansing of Palestinian land by some critics.. CCR filed its Freedom of Information Act request seeking records about Trump and GHF activities which could provide insight into possible involvement between GHF and Trump team who made decisions related to ethnic cleansing practices at Gaza Harbor Factory which critics refer to as ethnic cleansing strategy in general terms
Legal experts believe these events could pave the way for formal inquiries into genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity. A press release by CCR noted that more than 600 Palestinians died while queuing for food at GHF distribution sites guarded by U.S. private security contractors.
U.S. State Department under Trump allocated approximately USD 30 million to the Global Humanitarian Facility (GHF), drawing strong criticism from UN officials and major humanitarian NGOs including Oxfam, Save the Children and UNRWA who called these aid hubs deadly “death traps”. CBS News earlier reported that approximately 550 to 600 people died near these sites highlighting their severity.
Critics maintain that diverting funds away from neutral UN-monitored channels to a U.S.-backed private system has only compounded Gaza’s already dire humanitarian situation, as critics allege this model was designed to support Israeli military goals such as displacement and control of aid routes (Center for Constitutional Rights).
Palestinians living in desperate conditions have spurred immediate calls for accountability from human rights bodies, with Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor specifically citing Donald Trump as being complicit and demanding action by International Criminal Court or other judicial bodies against him and/or others involved. Dawn Ades’ research in The Electorate provides further proof of Trump’s role.
As legal and human rights pressure mounts, all eyes are turning toward international courts to determine whether state leaders and security contractors may be held liable for supporting operations that have led to mass civilian deaths in one of the world’s gravest humanitarian crises.
